Who we are

Pro Van Move ("we", "us") is a UK van and removals service. For any privacy question or request, contact us at n0t5ehmi@gmail.com or +44 7399159349. We are the data controller for the personal data described below.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to quote, book and complete your job:

• Account details — name, email address and password (managed by our platform's authentication service) when you register.
• Enquiry and job details — your name, email, phone number, pickup and drop-off addresses, property access details, item descriptions, preferred dates and any photos you upload.
• Booking and payment records — what you booked, the price, and payment status. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details.
• Basic usage information — anonymous analytics about how the site is used, only if you accept analytics cookies (see our Cookie Policy).

Why we use it

We use your data to: prepare and send quotes; schedule and complete your job; contact you about your booking; process payments and refunds; comply with tax and legal obligations; and, only with your consent, tell you about offers. Our legal bases are performance of a contract (your booking), legitimate interests (running and improving our service), legal obligation (records) and consent (marketing).

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers that make the business work: our app hosting platform (Base44), our payment processor (card payments and refunds), our email delivery provider, and the drivers who carry out your job (name, contact details and job address only). We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become bookings are deleted within 12 months. Completed job, invoice and payment records are kept for 6 years to meet HMRC tax requirements. Account data is kept until you delete your account.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, object to or restrict its use, or get a copy of it. You can delete your account and its data yourself at any time from My Account — or email n0t5ehmi@gmail.com and we will action your request within one month. If you're unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

Our services are for adults only and are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. Bookings must be made by someone aged 18 or over.

Security & changes

Data is stored on the platform's secured infrastructure with access restricted to the business owner and assigned staff. If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page.
